Timber Framed Boats

Many clubs own timber or timber framed boats that until now have been difficult to repair. Rowgear has recently acquired the services of Jay Lawry, a master wooden boat restorer. Until late 2008, Jay was the principle of the Wooden Boat Restoration School in New Zealand and has returned to native Perth to carry on his craft. Trinity College, Fremantle Rowing Club, ANA and West Australian Rowing Club have all recently had boats restored by Jay. The results have been outstanding and these boats are now back on the water.

If you think your timber boat is beyond repair get Jay to take a look – no job is too hard.

Regatta Presence

Rowgear attends all major pennant regattas with a comprehensive range of equipment, spare parts and fasteners for the convenience of the rowing community. EFTPOS facilities are available and most items from the NK and Rowing Boat Lights range are available.
